How many of the Fraxel Re:Fine treatments is it going to take and how far apart are they going to be?

For the most effective results it is recommended to split the treatment into four to six sessions, spaced out at two to four week intervals. The end results, of course, will also depend on the condition of the skin itself. This is something that you and the physician will discuss during your consultation. The spacing could be further apart or grouped closer together, depending on certain factors that will need to be considered upon your initial visit. The results will be immediate with progression to optimal improvement taking place in as little as two to three months. The estimated time frame allows time for the healing process to be completed while the production of new collagen and elastic replaces the damaged tissues.

Are there any precautions to take after having a Fraxel Re:Fine treatment?

You will be given thorough instructions to follow on the care of wounds after each one of your treatments. Following these closely extremely important to the healing process.
